Description:

Detailed family stories of Donnie, Roger, Weston, Mark, and Joan growing up on a farm in York County, Pennsylvania. Stories about the tin-headed ground-hog, the trap-line with muskrats and weasels, shooting tiny birds with a BB gun, and the day we found a moonshine still. We raised potatoes, cabbage, sweet corn, tomatoes, hay, field corn, and one year, three acres of turnips - and that is a story about tons and tons of turnips.
