Abstract: A handbook for food administrators, agricultural planners, and nutritionists sets forth specific recommendations by expert study groups concerning nutrient intakes. Specific intake recommendations are given for energy, protein, 8 vitamins (vitamins A, B1, B12, C, and D3, and niacin, riboflavin, and folate,) and 4 trace elements (Ca, Fe, I, and F).
