Description:

Charles Elliott Perkins was born in 1840 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He married Edith Forbes. They had seven children. Their son, Robert Forbes Perkins, married Anna Rodman Bowditch, daughter of Ebenezer Francis Bowditch (1841-1891) and Elizabeth Fessenden Perry, in 1891 in Framingham, Massachusetts. They had four children, including the author Anna Bowditch Perkins (b. 1898), who married Fairfield Goodale.
