Description:

One Summer Harvest is the story of Charlie, a fourteen-year-old boy who has polio and lives with his abusive, alcoholic father. Charlie's chance to prove himself to his father comes when his older brother, Terry, is drafted into the Army and their father suffers a debilitating stroke during harvest time on the family farm. With impending pressure from the bank to foreclose, Charlie must challenge his physical and emotional limitations to finish the harvest as the odds begin to mount against him.s
