Cutting Edge is the first adult course to recognise that the regular performance of spoken and written tasks is crucial to successful language acquisition. It cuts through the practical problems of combining the innovative ideas of task-based learning with a traditional grammar and skills syllabus in a user-friendly way. Meaningful, creative tasks lead to improved confidence and fluency • Development of 'power' vocabulary, with a particular focus on high-frequency, useful words and phrases • Discovery approach to grammar leads students to a clearer understanding of how language is used Unique Mini-dictionary with more than 2,000 words and phrases promotes learner training
