If you want to teach students to think when they read and to access all of the critical skills involved in understanding, this is the resource for you! I attended Adrienne Gear's workshop in Vancouver, BC and since then thousands of my students have learned how to think when they read. It is invaluable and I suggest the Writing Power resources as well. Primarily aimed from K-3 and grades 4-7 Adrienne transforms your reading program into teaching reading on an elevated level.
